We are running FIM 4.2. I wanted to know what the latest version of java it would support?
I know this was a few months ago this was asked, but I've recently gone through the pain of updating this myself. Since there is no real answer provided, and the documentation didn't help me all that much, I can give some details on what I did.
I was able to get it running on the latest patch version of JRE1.8. I could have tried to go further, preferably to SE11, but I already felt like I was pushing it as is. In order to get it running I had to also update the Bouncy Castle release (jdk15on-161), get an updated Postgres Driver (42.2.5 for JRE8, I'm running PostgreSQL 11.2.2), and update the Xerces version (Xerces-J 2.12.0) as part of the base FIM install.
If anyone got it functional on anything newer, I'd love to know!
