Hello!
I have an RSA Access Manager and what I have right now is:
A database with around 100 users, and if a user locked the account he calls the helpdesk and someone unlocks the account,
These users are using the RSA system to VPN in, and we are planning to create an outside portal so they can access it only to unlock their accounts based on some security questions that they have to create.
Is RSA Access Manager offers something link that as an option?
Thank you
Eris Bleta,
Try taking a look at our documentation on Self-Service Troubleshooting Policy. In creating a policy you have the options to specify the authentication method and the lock parameters.
With the authentication method, you select the mode in which users will authenticate if they have trouble with their primary authentication method.
Lock parameter settings are to allow unlimited failed authentications or to lock accounts after a specified number of consecutive failed authentications and whether admins must do the account unlock or if it is done automatically after a set time.
Nowhere does it allow an option for users to login to the Self-Service Console and request an unlock.
That being said, you can always post request to RSA Ideas for RSA SecurID Access. Product Management watches that space and makes determinations on what potential features to add based on votes. Note that just because an idea is submitted does not guarantee that it will be incorporated into a future product release.
Regards,
Erica
