We have RSA Agent for Windows installed on end user devices with Windows 10.
Users sometimes use the "Run As Administrator" function to elevate their privileges for certain actions. Obviously if the account they are logged on as doesn't have administrator privileges then they have to provide credentials for a user with administrator privileges. As we have the RSA Agent installed this means they get challenged for Username & RSA Passcode.
Is there anyway to stop them being challenged for RSA credentials when they invoke "Run As Administrator". I can't think of anyway other than excluding the administrator account from 2FA altogether.
Any suggestions on whether this could be done some other way ?
