We need to format ESA hard disk. Can you Please tell me which type of cable(Hard disk to USB) it required to do this activity?
I've moved your question to the RSA NetWitness Platform space where it will be seen by the product's support engineers, other customers and partners. Please bookmark this page and use it when you have product-specific questions.
Alternatively, from the RSA Support page, click on Ask A Question on the blue navigation bar and choose Ask A Product Related Question. From there, scroll to RSA NetWitness Platform and click Ask A Question. That way your question will appear in the correct space.

you can try creating VD and initialise using PERC BIOS Configuration utility. https://www.dell.com/support/article/uk/en/ukbsdt1/sln132533/how-to-initialize-and-create-a-virtual-disk-with-a-dell-poweredge-raid-controller-perc?lang=en#Init
Actually Our ESA is in dead state and we need to format ESA hard disk by externally by connecting cable from hard disk to USB.
So please suggest me the cable which is required to do this activity.
Just curious to know the plan for wiping the on-board disk. If you want re-use the disks in ESA, you can try build-stick which can bring the appliance online by wiping existing OS.
Actually we have to return this appliance to RSA back, before that we need to errase all the data from that hard drive.
Can you please share me the link to buy that cable online.
You shouldn't need any cable to wipe the disks, just a USB bootstick with partedmagic (or similar) installed. https://linhost.info/2010/06/how-to-create-a-parted-magic-bootable-usb-flash-drive/
Please help me,that given link is unable to open.
Just google "USB Bootstick partedmagic” and open any of them. That was just the first link from the results.
