how can rsa authentication manager handle service accounts where there is no user to type in a pin
I've moved your question to the RSA SecurID Access space where it will be seen by the product's support engineers, other customers and partners. Please bookmark this page and use it when you have product-specific questions.
Alternatively, from the RSA Customer Support page, click on Ask A Question on the blue navigation bar and choose Ask A Product Related Question. From there, scroll to RSA SecurID Access and click Ask A Question. That way your question will appear in the correct space.

If you need to set up a service account to authenticate, look at the option of fixed passcode. See 000037419 - Assign a fixed passcode to a user in RSA Authentication Manager
If you're working on windows, the Windows Software Token with automation responds to PKCS#11 commands to let you fetch the tokencode or passcode programmatically. You could also set up a software token profile fob-style, and hard-code the PIN into your program, or go PINless. We recommend against PINless tokens, as they reduce your security, but they sometimes have their uses. Just be very careful.
