I want to upgrade vCPU,Memory and HDD in current RSA VM. Can I just change the resource from VM? or there is some step that need to do for that?
It is recommended to install the system on the target with all settings established ahead of time. The AM server calculates a system fingerprint upon installation, which is based on a number of factors regarding hardware, and if the system detects a change to HDD, mac, cpu..etc, it will refuse to operate and may be difficult or impossible to recover.
Best idea is set up a new replica which meets your resource needs at the start, then promote that to become primary...and continue on installing/deleting replicas until all systems are on the specification you need. This way the system fingerprint is never changed and you have the lowest risk of a possible outage. If you have a base license which allows only one primary and one replica, you can still install one more replica... and the reason for that is exactly this scenario, it allows you to 'leapfrog' from older systems to newer systems by using an extra replica installation as a stepping point, ensuring you never have less than two operating AM systems at any one time.
