Hello,
it seems that the ServiceNow application requires the cloud-version of service now, is that correct?
We have Service Now on prem and the test connection fails, digging around in the logs a bit I found that when the services are created we see this:
Creating Service {http://www.service-now.com/sys_ui_view}ServiceNow_sys_ui_view from class com.aveksa.servicenow.wsdl.view.ServiceNowSoap
Is my assumption correct? That it only supports the cloud-version?
If so, since we have to enter an URL, why isn't that used in its entirety?
I get that most orgs do not use it on prem, but it should still be a fairly quick fix to be able to use the entire URL instead of just the instance name.
TIA
Markus
Not necessarily but RSA has qualified only against the SaaS version of ServiceNow.
This is just the SOAP schema and nothing to do with the instance URL that was configured.
As long as the on premise version supports the same SOAP APIs there is no reason for this not to work. Did you check with the vendor to see if the SOAP APIs are identical ?
