RSA Authentication Agent for Epic Hyperdrive, built on REST based protocol provides stronger multi-factor authentication options to Epic Hyperdrive users. As Epic is transitioning from Hyperspace to Hyperdrive, customers need to deploy this new Agent for Epic Hyperdrive to secure login and/or workflow that requires step-up authentication.
The Authentication Agent is installed on Windows computer running Hyperdrive client. When user tries to log in or approve a workflow in Epic Hyperdrive, the Authentication Agent communicates with the Authentication Manager in the network to manage the authentication.
RSA has an existing integration with Epic Hyperspace with RSA Authentication Manager. See the documentation.
Note: There is no upgrade or migration supported from the existing RSA Integration with Hyperspace to the new RSA Agent for Hyperdrive.
