JitBit - SAML SSO Agent Configuration - RSA Ready SecurID Access Implementation Guide

This section describes how to integrate RSA SecurID Access with JitBit using a SAML SSO Agent.

Configure RSA Cloud Authentication Service

Perform these steps to configure RSA Cloud Authentication Service as an SSO Agent SAML IdP to JitBit.

Procedure

  1. Sign into the RSA Cloud Administration Console and browse to Applications > Application Catalog

  2. Search for JitBit then click on + Add.

  3. On Basic Information page enter a Name for the application, ie. JitBit Then click on Next Step.

  4. On Connection Profile page.

    1. In Connection URL field, verify the default setting.

    2. Choose IDP-Initiated. Note this setting also works for SP-Initiated as well.

    3. Scroll down to SAML Identity Provider (Issuer) section.

    4. Note the Identity Provider URL and Issuer Entity ID. These values are automatically generated. They may be needed later for the configuration of JitBit.

    5. Click on Generate Cert Bundle, set a a common name for your company certificate. Then click Generate and Download.

    6. Select Choose File and upload the private key from the generated certificate bundle.

    7. Select Choose File and upload the cert.pem from the generated certificate bundle. This will be the IdP certificate.

    8. Select Include Certificate on Outgoing Assertion.

    9. Scroll down to Service Provider section.

    10. Enter the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) with https://<INSTANCE>.jitbit.com/helpdesk/Saml/Consume. Replacing <Instance> with your instance of JitBit.

    11. For the Audience (Service Provider Issuer ID) leave the default value.

    12. Scroll down to User Identity section.

    13. Ensure Identifier Type = Email Address, set your Identity Source and Property = mail.

    14. Expand Advanced Configuration.

    15. For Attribute Extension click +Add.

    16. For Attribute Name enter last_name and select corresponding Property , i.e. sn.

    17. Click +Add.

    18. For Attribute Name enter first_name and select corresponding Property , i.e. givenName.

    19. Click Next Step.

  5. On User Access page select the Access Policy you require. Allow All Authenticated Users is the least restrictive. Click Next Step

  6. On Portal Display Page.

    1. Select Display in Portal.

    2. Upload an Application Icon if you wish.

    3. Set an Application Tooltip if you wish.

    4. Click on Save and Finish.

  7. Click on Publish Changes. Your application is now enabled for SSO. If you make any additional changes to the application configuration you will need to republish.

  8. Browse to Application > My Applications .

  9. Locate newly create application for JitBit.

  10. Click on Down Arrow next to Edit button.

  11. Select Export Metadata data. This will be used below for JitBit configuration.

 

 

Configure JitBit

Perform these steps to integrate JitBit with RSA SecurID Access as a SAML SSO Agent.

Procedure

  1. Sign into your JitBit instance, https://<instance>.jitbit.com/ .

  2. Browse to Administration.

  3. Click on General Settings.

  4. Scroll down to Authentication Settings section.

  5. Check Enable SAML 2.0 single sign on.

  6. In the EndPoint URL field, add the Identity Provider URL noted down earlier. For example, https://testportal.sso.pest.rsa.net/IdPServlet?idp_id=1vih3ptestexp.

  7. For x509 certificate copy and paste the Identity Provider certificate you downloaded earlier.

  8. In the SAML login button text field, enter what you want the login button to say. For example, SecurID Login.

  9. Click Save changes.

Configuration is complete.
