Issue
We have had some requests that normally process fine through AFX - fail over to our manual task items because an AFX connector is stopped. When we are in admin web gui and test the connector it shows success. However new requests still fail on AFX because it says the AFX connector is stopped. We checked the connector and it was in a running state per web gui. The afx status command shows all processes in running state on our Linux Server. We are on v7.0.2 P02 It seems that when AFX Connector is built for a remote database, and that database briefly goes down for maintenance reasons. IGL will stop trying to contact it. Nor does IGL restart the connector once it can contact the database properly. To resolve the issue we had to manually bounce the AFX connector from the web gui (set to test > then set to active). Please find attached esb (AFX) logs and the server logs.
