Cancel a Log Archive Job That is Currently Executing
Log archive jobs consume significant processing resources and disk space and should be run at off-peak hours. To increase the availability of system resources, you can cancel a log archive job that is currently executing. The job stops running immediately. The database and log files are reverted, and details about the canceled job are not saved.
Procedure
In the Security Console, click Administration > Batch Jobs.
Click on the log archive job that you want to cancel, and select Cancel.
