This article applies to all RSA customers and partners who have already configured an MFA authenticator for their RSA Community, Partner Portal, and/or myRSA account.
When I try to navigate back to the Authenticator Enrollment page and attempt to log in, I get an error message saying "Failed to Log In - Unsuccessful authentication" as shown in the screenshot below.
The "Failed to Log In" error message displays on the Authenticator Enrollment page after authenticating when the user already has one or more authenticators configured for their account.
Instead, to successfully log in and verify your MFA authenticator(s), you must follow the steps below.
- Navigate to the My Page Login interface here: https://rsa-community.auth.securid.com/
- Enter your User ID (generally your email address) and password in the appropriate fields and click the Submit button.
- After authenticating and arriving at the My Page interface, click on the My Authenticators tab on the left side.
- You should then be prompted to authenticate using one of your configured MFA authenticators.
- You will then be able to view your configured MFA authenticator(s), configure additional authenticators, and update your password should you desire.
If you encounter any issues with the steps above, please contact RSA Support for assistance and reference this article.
IMPORTANT:
Users should not reset their passwords using the My Authenticators page until the RSA ID Plus single sign-on (SSO) portal is fully leveraged for the RSA Community, Partner Portal, and myRSA websites. (Estimated launch is February, 2025.) Instead, users should leverage the Forgot Password page within the Registration Portal.
