Nuclino - SAML SSO Agent Configuration - SecurID Access Implementation Guide
This section describes how to integrate SecurID Access with Nuclino using a SAML SSO Agent.
Architecture Diagram
Configure SecurID Access Cloud Authentication Service
Perform these steps to configure Cloud Authentication Service(CAS) as an SSO Agent SAML IdP to Nuclino.
Procedure

Sign into the Cloud Administration Console and browse to Applications > Application Catalog.

Click on Create From Template found in he upper right of the page then select SAML Direct.

On Basic Information page enter a Name for the application, ie. Nuclino Then click on Next Step.

On Connection Profile page.

In Connection URL field, verify the default setting.

Choose IDP-Initiated or SP-Inititated.

Scroll down to SAML Identity Provider (Issuer) section.

Note the Identity Provider URL and Issuer Entity ID. These values are automatically generated. They may be needed later for the configuration of Nuclino.

Click on Generate Cert Bundle, set a a common name for your company certificate. Then click Generate and Download .

Select Choose File and upload the private key from the generated certificate bundle.

Select Choose File and upload the cert from the generated certificate bundle. The public certificate in the bundle is used for the Nuclino configuration below.

Select Include Certificate on Outgoing Assertion .

Scroll down to Service Provider section.

Enter the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) from the ACS URL in from the Nuclino configuration. For example: https://api.nuclino.com/api/sso/143ab17a-22f9-49c6-839a-3f316b1519fe/acs.

Enter the Audience (Service Provider Issuer ID) from the ACS URL in from the Nuclino configuration. For example: https://api.nuclino.com/api/sso/143ab17a-22f9-49c6-839a-3f316b1519fe/metadata.

Scroll down to User Identity section .

Ensure Identifier Type = Email Address, set your Identity Source and Property = mail.

Expand Show Advanced Configuration . Note Property values may vary based on your configuration.

In Attribute Extension section click +ADD.

Add Attribute Name = first_name and Property = givenName.

In Attribute Extension section click +ADD.

Add Attribute Name = last_name and Property = sn.

In Attribute Extension section click +ADD.

Add Attribute Name = email and Property = mail.

Click Next Step.

On User Access page select the Access Policy you require. Allow All Authenticated Users is the least restrictive.

Click Next Step.
-
On Portal Display Page.

Select Display in Portal.

Upload an Application Icon if you wish.

Set an Application Tooltip if you wish.

Click on Save and Finish.

Browse to Application > My Applications .

Locate newly create application for Nuclino.

Click on Down Arrow next to Edit button.

Select Export Metadata data. This may be used below for Nuclino configuration.

Click on Publish Changes. Your application is now enabled for SSO. If you make any additional changes to the application configuration you will need to republish.
Configure Nuclino
Perform these steps to integrate Nuclino with SecurID Access as a SAML SSO Agent.
Procedure

Login into the Nuclino application and navigate to the Team Settings > Authentication section.

Note the ACS URL and Entity ID. This will be used above in the SecurID Access Cloud Authentication Service configuration above.

Check the SAML option.

In the SSO URL copy the value of the Identity Provider URL noted above in the SecurID Access CAS configuration. For example, https://portal.sso.pe.rsa.net/IdPServlet?idp_id=2lw0lret89uxb.

In the IDP Entity ID copy the value of the Identity Provider URL noted above in the CAS configuration. For example, 2lw0lret89uxb.

In the Public certificate copy the value of the IDP public certificate from the generated certificate bundle or use the contents of the metadata XML file downloaded above and copy the X.509 certification information between the tags <ds:X509Certificate></ds:X509Certificate> and paste it in the IDP Certificate field. Noted above in the CAS configuration.

Click on Save Changes.
Configuration is complete.
