Path to upgrade RSA Authentication Manager 8.x

Issue
When upgrading to RSA Authentication Manager 8.x, or from a lower version of 8.x to a more recent version, there is an order for installing versions, service packs and patches. This article explains the upgrade order.
Resolution
- Authentication Manager 8.0
- Authentication Manager 8.1
- Authentication Manager 8.1 SP1
- Authentication Manager 8.2
- Authentication Manager 8.2 SP1
- Authentication Manager 8.3
- Authentication Manager 8.4
When upgrading from one minor version to another (8.3 to 8.4, for example), you do not need to install any released patches or hot fixes, for that version unless expressly mentioned in the release notes.
As of this writing (20 February 2019) patches have not yet been released for 8.4. Once they are released, please be sure to install them on your primary first then on all replicas.

Patches were released for previous versions for Authentication Manager. If you are on an upgrade path to 8.4, you do not need to install these patches to upgrade successfully.
Notes
All currently supported RSA SecurID Authentication Agents and Clients are supported with Authentication Manager 8.x. See the Product Version Life Cycle for RSA SecurID Access page for more information.
