Summary:
With the next release of RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle, v7.2 – currently scheduled for the first quarter of 2020 – the Operating Systems supported for software-based installations will change.
In alignment with the Operating System Vendor support schedules and based on customer requirements, RSA is adding support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 7 (update 2 and above) as well as the latest SuSE Linux Enterprise Server version 12 service pack support (SP4). RSA will no longer support installations on Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 6 or SuSE Linux Enterprise Server version 11 for RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle v7.2 and above.
RSA will continue to support Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 6 or SuSE Linux Enterprise Server version 11 on RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle v7.1.x; however, customers upgrading to the next release will have to also upgrade the underlying Operating System accordingly.
RSA is providing this information in advance of the next release to allow customers to include into their upgrade and deployment planning.
