Summary:
RSA is excited to announce the availability of RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle version 7.5.0!
RSA's Identity Governance and Lifecycle solution helps organizations eliminate Identity and Access risk gaps by improving their Access Assurance posture using a Governance first approach.
Highlighted below are a number of key solution updates in this release. Summaries and videos describing the product changes are available below. See the RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.5.0 Release Notes for additional information about the contents of this release.
Risk-Based Access Assurance – A continuous and risk-based access assurance model that incorporates both identity and access analytics to help organizations mitigate their digital access risks by ensuring the highest levels of insights, confidence, and assurance across their most critical and sensitive assets.
- Adjust Common/Uncommon Review Analysis Thresholds – Adjust peer access analysis calculations to improve access risk analysis, awareness, and to provide suggested guidance during review processes.
- Refresh Review Analytics and Guidance – Improve and update your review guidance and analysis metrics to your business users by refreshing access analytics without the need to refresh data.
- Workflow Web Service Extensions – Improve risk-based workflow decisions by easily leveraging external business processes in workflows by leveraging (JSON) request and responses in workflow web service nodes.
Business User Experience - A simple, informed and guided business user experience that helps business users focus on what is truly important and understand the risk (and impact) by surfacing additional rich context, highlighting areas of importance and prioritization of higher risk items. This unique experience lessens the burden of Identity management and governance processes on the business.
- Simplified Access Request Summary and Request Details – Simple, streamlined and more intuitive (with reduced information) request summary, detail and approval screens to help users quickly assess request information and make informed decisions.
- Role Metadata Changes Visibility in Change Requests – Role metadata change insights and historical visibility for improved approval decision support.
Customer Success – We’re making it easier to deploy, manage, operate, maintain, and expand your RSA solution through new capabilities and solutions that help enable quick and efficient implementation and operation of your core identity management processes - coupled with metrics that highlight ongoing business value.
- Docker container deployment model – New, streamlined deployment model and experience using a modernized, container-based deployment approach.
- Multi-Role Set Role Data Collections – Making it easier to now collect from a single role source and populate access across multiple roles and role sets.
- Importing Local Role Hierarchies – Import and manage local Role hierarchy of relationships from other local Roles or collected Roles to your local Roles.
- Introducing Global Variables – Leverage and update centralized “global” variables to quickly make changes across the solution in one place.
- Uploading JAR files for Collections and Workflows – Easily upload and manage JAR files directly in the administrative interface for collection end-point connectivity and custom workflow processes.
- Trusted Applications for Web Services – Manage and assign specific web services to application specific contexts, which are used to directly connect and interact with your RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle solution.
Additional Platform Updates: The following platform updates have been made:
- Upgraded RSA-Provided Database Component – An in-place migration to the latest version of the RSA-provided database component is now available for licensed customers.
- WildFly Application Server Updates and Clustering Capabilities Improvements – The provided RSA application server has been updated to WildFly 21. Clustering has also been simplified; adding nodes to a cluster is as easy as providing the list of nodes in the setup process.
- Updated Operating System Support – Both RedHat Enterprise Linux Server (RHEL) 8 and SuSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 12 SP 5 are now supported.
