RSA Announces the Release of RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 8.0 for Pluggable Authentication Module PAM

Summary:
RSA announces the release of the RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 8.0 for PAM. This new PAM agent provides the ability to authenticate to the Cloud Authentication Service or RSA Authentication Manager:
- The Cloud Authentication Service can protect on-premises resources (for example, VPN) and cloud-based applications (for example, O365) with mobile-optimized authentication methods that include push to approve and biometrics.
- Authenticating to RSA Authentication Manager with the REST protocol offers the following benefits:
- Agent Reporting
- Easier deployment and management of multiple PAM agents
- FIPS-compliant agent to server communication
