Issue
The RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle approval workflow can be configured to send an email to the approver with http links to either approve or reject the requests.   The order of these hyperlinks is indeterminate and in some requests the Approval link will occur before the Reject link and some instances the Reject link will occur before the Approval link.  It is not possible to guarantee the order of the links.   This may lead to confusion for users attempting to approve the request.

The email form does not provide an option to directly specify or order the response hyperlinks.   Instead, a macro called ${ValidReplyAnswers} is responsible for populating the request options.

Cause
This is a known limitation.
Resolution
Please patch or upgrade to the following versions where this is resolved.  The links now are displayed in alphabetical order.  
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.0.0  upgrade to 7.0.2
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.0.1  upgrade to 7.0.2
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.0.2 P10
