Summary:
RSA announces the release of the RSA SecurID® Software Token 2.1.1 for Android. The RSA SecurID Software Token app transforms your Android device into an RSA SecurID authentication device.
Platforms:
Android devices running Android OS version 4.1 or later with RSA Authentication Manager 8.1 or later.
Description:
RSA SecurID Software Token for Android provides a one-time password (OTP) software token app that can be installed on Android devices. The app is available at no cost through Google Play. This release fixes an issue that prevented the RSA SecurID app from working with cellular services, such as Google Project Fi, that automatically switch between CDMA and GSM networks.
Obtaining RSA SecurID Software Token for Android:
The application is available at no cost through Google Play. To access the application for download, access Google Play on the device and type “RSA SecurID” in the search field. RSA partners interested in integrating RSA SecurID software token support into their own Android app can also make use of the RSA SecurID SDK 2.1.1 for Android, available through the RSA Ready Partner Program.
For additional documentation, downloads, and more, visit the RSA SecurID Software Token 2.1 page on RSA Link.
EOPS Policy:
RSA has a defined End of Primary Support policy associated with all major versions. Please refer to the Product Version Life Cycle for additional details.
