RSA announces the release of the RSA® SecurID® Software Token 2.2 and SDK 2.2 for Android. The RSA SecurID Software Token app transforms your Android device into an RSA SecurID authentication device.

Android devices running Android OS version 4.1 or later with RSA Authentication Manager 8.1 or later.

Description:

RSA SecurID Software Token for Android provides a one-time password (OTP) software token app that can be installed on Android devices. 

Below is a summary of what is new in this release:

· The shortened name of the app is rebranded to the Token app.

Obtaining RSA SecurID Software Token for Android:

The application is available at no cost through Google Play. To access the application for download, access Google Play on the device and type “RSA SecurID” in the search field. RSA partners interested in integrating RSA SecurID software token support into their own Android app can also make use of the RSA SecurID SDK 2.2 for Android, available through the RSA Ready Partner Program.
