RSA will release RSA SecurID® SDK 2.5 for iOS in June to enhance security for customer and partner applications that are built using this SDK. This release will contain the following improvements:  

• BSAFE will be upgraded from version 4.3 to version 4.4. The SDK structure will change from libraries to a framework using the latest BSAFE libraries (Crypto-C ME v4.1.4, MES v4.4 and Crypto-J 6.2.5 ).
• The SDK will no longer support devices running iOS 9 and iOS 10 in accordance with Apple guidelines.

Customers/partners that plan to include this new version of the SDK in their updated iOS apps are advised to reach out to impacted users to upgrade their devices and/or iOS versions as necessary to continue using their app.
