Self-Service Settings
Self-Service is a web-based system that enables users to manage their profiles and authenticators. To access the Self-Service Settings page, click Setup > Self Service Settings.
The following settings are available:
Select Identity Source. Select the internal database for user enrollment. The internal database is the only identity source that can be configured for user enrollment because it is the only identity source that is writable.
Select Security Domains. Select the security domains from which you want users to enroll. The security domains determine which users an administrator can manage.
Select User Groups. Select the user groups from which you want users to enroll. This allows access to restricted agents or protected resources on a network.
Workflow Policies. Define the number of approval or distribution steps for requests from users of the Self-Service Console.
Manage Authenticators. Manage the types of authenticators available to users. Optionally, set a default authenticator for all authenticator requests.
Set Shipping Address. Define fields in shipping addresses for authenticator requests. Map fields to user information in an identity source and set fields as required, optional, read-only, or hidden.
The following settings are available to all deployments:
User Profile. Customize the user profile for each identity source. Only users in the internal database can manage user profile attributes using the User Profile settings. You can customize the user profile for enrollment.
Self-Service Console Authentication. Define the authentication method for the Self-Service Console.
E-mail Notifications for User Account Changes. Manage the types of e-mail notifications available to users when they perform sensitive actions to their accounts such as changing or resetting passwords or PIN, requesting emergency access, and others.
Enable or Disable Self-Service Features. Enable or disable Self-Service features for the Self-Service Console.
