Issue
After upgrading to RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.x, sub menus defined in drop-down request buttons in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle may have truncated text. For example,

The request button full names are:

As a workaround, making the top menu text as long or longer than the drop-down sub menu texts prevents the truncation:

Patches 7.1.0 P06  and 7.1.1 P01 attempted to address this issue by enabling hover capability over the truncated menu items.

This was not considered an acceptable resolution.

Cause
This is a known issue reported in engineering ticket ACM-99458.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in the following RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle patches:
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.0 P09
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.1 P03

The resolution is to wrap-around the request button text rather than truncate the text and require hovering.
