Unable to remove a Role Membership Rule from a Role in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle

Issue
In RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle you may edit the existing Role Membership Rule of a Role by pressing the Membership Rule button on the Members tab of the Role and modifying the Membership Rule criteria.  When you click OK it will update the Role Membership Rule with the changes you have made. However, if you remove all Role Membership Rule criteria so that the Role applies to All and then click OK, the Role Membership Rule criteria is not saved and the Role Membership Rule remains unchanged.

Cause
This is a known issue reported in engineering ticket ACM-96219.
 
Resolution
This issue is resolved in the following RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle versions and/or patch levels:
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.0.2 P14
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.0 P07
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.1 P02
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.2
Workaround
Create a new Role without a Role Membership Rule.
