UserEcho - SAML SSO Agent Configuration - SecurID Access Implementation Guide

This section describes how to integrate SecurID Access with UserEcho using a SAML SSO Agent.

Configure SecurID Access Cloud Authentication Service

Perform these steps to configure SecurID Access Cloud Authentication Service(CAS) as an SSO Agent SAML IdP to UserEcho.

Procedure

  1. Sign into the Cloud Administration Console and browse to Applications > Application Catalog.

  2. Click on Create From Template found in he upper right of the page then select SAML Direct.

  3. On Basic Information page enter a Name for the application, ie. UserEcho Then click on Next Step.

  4. On Connection Profile page.

    1. In Connection URL field, verify the default setting.

    2. Choose IDP-Initiated or SP-Initiated.

    3. Scroll down to SAML Identity Provider (Issuer) section.

    4. Note the Identity Provider URL and Issuer Entity ID. These values are automatically generated. They may be needed later for the configuration of UserEcho.

    5. Click on Generate Cert Bundle, set a a common name for your company certificate. Then click Generate and Download .

    6. Select Choose File and upload the private key from the generated certificate bundle.

    7. Select Choose File and upload the cert from the generated certificate bundle.

    8. Select Include Certificate on Outgoing Assertion.

    9. Scroll down to Service Provider section.

    10. Enter the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) This is the ACS URL found in your instance of UserEcho . For example https://[ACCOUNT NAME].userecho.com/saml/acs/.

    11. Enter the Audience (Service Provider Issuer ID) This is the Metadata URL found in your instance of UserEcho . For example https://[ACCOUNT NAME].userecho.com/saml/metadata/.

    12. Scroll down to User Identity section.

    13. Ensure Identifier Type = Email Address, set your Identity Source and Property = mail.

    14. Expand Show Advanced Configuration .

    15. In Attribute Extension section click +ADD.

    16. Add Attribute Name = "Email" and Property = mail.

    17. In Attribute Extension section click +ADD.

    18. Add Attribute Name = "Last name" and Property = sn.

    19. In Attribute Extension section click +ADD.

    20. Add Attribute Name = "First name" and Property = givenName.

    21. Note that the property values may differ in your configuration.

    22. Click Next Step

  5. On User Access page select the Access Policy you require. Allow All Authenticated Users is the least restrictive. Click Next Step

  6. On Portal Display Page

    1. Select Display in Portal

    2. Upload an Application Icon if you wish

    3. Set an Application Tooltip if you wish.

    4. Click on Save and Finish

  7. Click on Publish Changes. Your application is now enabled for SSO. If you make any additional changes to the application configuration you will need to republish.

Configure UserEcho

Perform these steps to integrate UserEcho with SecurID Access as a SAML SSO Agent.

Procedure

  1. Sign into UserEcho and browse to Agent interface.

  2. Navigate to SetupIntegrations > WebsiteSingle sign-on(SAML).

  3. Scroll to the SAML settings at the bottom of the page. Note the ACS URL and Metadata URL, this is used above in the CAS configuration. For example, https://mysecurid.userecho.com/saml/acs/ and https://mysecurid.userecho.com/saml/metadata/

  4. For SAML SSO URL, enter the Identity Provider URL from the SecurID Access CAS configuration above. For example, https://portal.sso.pe.rsa.net/IdPServlet?idp_id=157mnki28yowd.

  5. For X.509 Certificate paste the contents of SecurID Access public certificate “cert.pem” file. This file is found in the certificate bundle that was generated and downloaded in the CAS configuration above.

  6. For Label, choose an appropriate lable for your SAML login button. For example, SecurID.

  7. Click on Login Settings. Under External system buttons, scroll down and check the Single sign-on (SAML) checkbox..

  8. Click on Save.

Configuration is complete.
