Issue
Users can not open The SDTID  file  on some mail applications  to get to  import the token in the SecurID app .
The below error or a similar error might be displayed .

Error:
Cannot open file

You don't have any apps that can open this type of file.
You can search for it in the Play Store.

Resolution
RSA did the  diligence of  registering the .sdtid extension at the OS level .However , The ability for a 3rd-party app to know what to do when a user taps on a file with a specific extension is not controlled by RSA.
Workaround
  1. User can use another app that can handle the tap-to-launch of files that are correctly registered with the OS  i.e. Gmail app for  Android devices . Noting that if  saving  the file locally onto the phone is required  first, the user MUST delete the file after completing the import to maintain the security best practices.
  2. Distribute the token via CTF method instead .The below link explains the needed procedure :
https://community.rsa.com/t5/securid-authentication-manager/distribute-one-software-token-using-compressed-token-format-ctf/ta-p/568310

       3. Considering using the CTKIP URL or  QRCode distribution method  by following the procedure mentioned in the below documet :

https://community.rsa.com/t5/securid-authentication-manager/distribute-one-software-token-using-dynamic-seed-provisioning/ta-p/571098

Notes
- Make sure to deploy at least one Webtier before using the CTKIP distribution method .You can refer to the Setup and Configuration guide for more details .
