Issue
Prerequisites check unsuccessful.
Unsuccessful: The system prerequisites are not met.
The installer had detected that the system does not meet the prerequisites for installation. Resolve each message shown in the details section and then click Next. To ignore the message and proceed with the installation, select Ignore and Continue.

- The hostname of the machine does not match the hostname the web tier package was generated for.
Resolution
Editing via the UI
Change the Computer Name Properties on the web tier host computer.- In the GUI install, go to System Properties > Computer Name > Change > More.
- Add the <domain> name (i.e., mydomain.com) to the primary DNS suffix of this computer.
- Click OK and restart the computer

The primary DNS suffix is stored in the registry at HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet001\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
Note: Your CurrentContralSet<seq> value may be different.
- Navigate to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet001\Services\Tcpip\Parameters.
- Change the values for the following registry keys:
- Domain (REG_SZ)
- SearchList (REG_SZ)
