Issue
Customers sometimes wonder why they see a Rules Pre-Processing job in the Admin Monitoring UI.  This article briefly summarizes information about the rules pre-processing job.

Resolution
This information can be found in the V6.9+  Administration Guide.    It can also be found in the online help for V7.x

Rules pre-processing is executed for Segregation of Duties (SOD) and User Access (UA) rules. This is done at the end of the following collections:
•Role Collection
•Account Collection
•Entitlement Collection
•Data Access Collection

It performs two operations:
•Builds entitlements table for SOD and UA rules. These rules have tables that hold the exploded entitlement conditions.
•Builds exploded user entitlement for the rules. A rule uses this exploded table forits processing.
