Issue
RSA ACE/Agent 5.6 not prompting for Windows login during remote authentications
Users are no longer prompted for Windows login prior to receiving a SecurID challenge. This is a change from previous RSA ACE/Agent versions such as 5.5.
Resolution
The Windows login challenge is not processed by RSA during a SecurID authentication using RSA EAP. This prompt was removed from both Wireless and Wired authentications to remove the perception of a vulnerability. The client configuration uses RSA EAP, so users will always be challenged for SecurID, and the RRAS and IAS will handle the authorization through Active directory.
