How do I import a Subordinate CA certificate into MSIE4.0
Resolution
To download Sentry CA 3.x subordinate CA (subCA) certificates using IE4.0, you will need to use the Microsoft Certmanager utility (Certmanager comes with Microsoft Certificate Server if you select the Certificate Server option when installing Microsoft Internet Information Server(IIS) 4.0).

Obtaining the Microsoft Certmanager utility :

Certmanager is included in the Microsoft Authenticode Suite for IE 4 and 5.

Obtain the GUI version of Authenticode from :

http://msdn.microsoft.com/code/default.asp?url=/code/sample.asp?url=/msdn-files/027/000/219/msdncompositedoc.xml

(Please note, this URL is subject to change by Microsoft, if you have problem access this URL, please check with Microsoft.)

Certmanager is included in this distribution.

-----

Follow these steps to download SubCA certificates from SentryCA using Cert Manager with IE4.0 browser installed:

1. Choose "Save this file to disk" when downloading the SubCA cert in the enrollment server.

2. Pick up the "certmgr.exe" from Microsoft.com.

2. Run "certmgr.exe".

3. Follow the Certificate Manager Import Wizard to import the SubCA cert into MSIE4.0.  This will save the Subordinate CA certificate into the Intermediate CA Certificate Store in your local registry.
