Opening the Event Viewer generates the following error:

Plugin tag OBJECT or EMBED not supported by browser or no JDK 1.4 support for APPLET

The IE settings for Active X Controls & Plug-ins needs to be changed. The setting ''Automatic prompting for Active X controls'' is set to Disable and needed to be changed to Enable.

To check/update the IE settings:

1. Open the IE properties.
2. Click on Security tab.
3. Select Internet.
4. Click on Custom Level.
5. Locate ''Active X Controls & Plug-ins'' and the subheading of ''Automatic prompting for Active X controls''.
6. Update the settings to enable the option.
