If you are using Windows Firewall:

Click on the Exceptions tab
Click on Add Port
Enter the name "RSA File Security Manager Adapter port"
Enter the port number "5766"
Select TCP

Click Ok
If you are using a third party firewall
Consult your documentation to unblock the port 5766 TCP.
If you are using a custom port for the Windows Adapter, you can look in the file C:\Program Files\RSA File Security Windows Adapter\FSAdapter.ini to get the port number used.
If running on a 64 bit system, verify the FSM Adapter installed is the 64 bit version.
