What special characters are disallowed in Access Manager user and group names?

sirrus.da.exception.DeferredLoadException: The name "<test" contains the disallowed character '<'
Resolution
Access Manager does not allow the following characters in user and group names:
"," "=" "+" "<" ">" ";"
In addition the following characters may cause problems with certain directory stores and are not recommended.
"/" "\" ":" "[" "]" "|" "?" "*" "#"
