Issue
After running automated log maintenance the database grew; why? How do I reclaim this space?
The sdlog.db grew after running automated log maintenance.
Cause
The Automated log Maintenance process will grow the database as it prepares the records for archival or deletion.  While these log records are removed, the disk space is not usable until a compress is done to reclaim it.
Resolution
Run "../ace/prog/sdcompress -l
