Issue
Error: "Access Denied"
RSA ACE/Server Primary will not authenticate in Primary Only Environment
Nothing in RSA ACE/Server logs
Resolution
NT : Go to Start --> Programs --> RSA ACE/Server --> Configuration Management
Under Legacy Agent Server Identification verify that the Primary is listed as Acting Master
Hostname and IP should match the Hostname and IP of This Server ( Found in Configuration Management )
Restart the Primary ACE/Server
UNIX : Run sdsetup -config
list the Primary as Acting Master
Hostname and IP should match the Hostname and IP of Primary ACE Server
Example :
PRIMARY ACE SERVER: primary_name.domain_name.com
PRIMARY ACE SERVER ADDRESS: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
THIS SERVER: primary_name.domain_name.com
THIS SERVER ADDRESS: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
ACTING MASTER SERVER: primary_name.domain_name.com
ACTING MASTER SERVER ADDRESS: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
ACTING SLAVE SERVER: not configured
Restart the Primary ACE/Server.
