Issue
Apache crashing couple times a day
seeing a issue with Apache on the RRM crashing/restarting which not seen with 6.8 build 518

analysis on the following error:

[Tue Nov 29 17:06:43 2011] [error] SSL-C: error:1407609C:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_CLIENT_HELLO:http request [Hint: speaking HTTP to HTTPS port!?]

The application is connecting to non-SSL port on enrollment server.

Memory usage has increased with Apache compared to earlier build

Since upgrading RSACM 6.8 from build 519 to build 520, the apache web service is eating up a lot of resources (the highest amount seen is ~59,000K) which eventually leads to the web service becoming non-responsive.

Resolution
Engineering has updated the Apache binary with changes for SSL-C initialization and issues with non-SSL port. Contact RSA Customer Support for new binary or upgrade to RCM 6.9 release.
