Add user in Security Console under Identity
I am new to secureID and rarely administer it.

I have created an external Identity Source associated to an Active Directory
within the OC. I have then linked that new Identity Source in the SC under
"setup > Identity Sources > Link identity Source to System".

When I configured the new identity source I tested and it was all successful
so that should not be an issue.

Now I want to add a new user in the SC under "Identity > User > New User".
However, the issue I am having is how I can link that user to the new identity
source I have created because it only ever lists the internal database as the
IS, no matter what I do.

CAn someone please direct me to a document or explain how I can create a new
Identity user assigned to the new IS I have created?

You cannot add Active Directory users from the Security Console. AM only
reads user records from its external identity sources, it does not create
them. You need to add the user in Active Directory itself. Creating a user in
the Security Console only adds them to the "Internal Database" identity
    source.

The HELP link at the top right of each SC and OC page can be used to get step-
by-step instructions for the operations you wish to execute.
