Confirm Membership Rule Functionality
I wanted to confirm the functionality I'm seeing. I want to be able to setup a
membership rule on a role, that can be rejected.

So I setup a membership rule on a role that a specific user should get added
to the role when the rule triggers.

When I trigger the rule, it generates the request as desired.

In the request the supervisor rejects the request to add the user to the role.

The next time the rule triggers it creates another request.

Is this the designed behavior? Or should IGL recognize the user has been
rejected from the membership rule and not submit any more requests?

Thanks for your help.

  • Your usage is principally incorrect. When a user meets your defined
membership criteria, why is there a need for supervisor approval ? The idea is
that these roles are pre-approved (by membership criteria) and rules merely
    adhere to that.

So what you are seeing is expected behavior.
