SriPrasanna (Wells Fargo) asked a question.

RSA Case AMIS | Token Lost Status | How to set the status of the token to lost
  1. We have a requirement from the customer where the status of the token at sometimes is needed to be set as lost.
  2. I see from the token search query for AMIS that we do get a response to this attribute tokenLost="true" and tokenLost="false".
  3. However, I did not see a method from your documentation that can help leverage this functionality from AMIS that can set the token status to lost and can also be changed to not lost if incase the token is found. Kindly advise.

  • @SriPrasanna (Wells Fargo),

    This sounds like a question for your DSE. I let him know that you posted this request.

  • @SriPrasanna (Wells Fargo),

    It looks like you've opened a case about this and that your DSE is already doing research for you.

    I didn't have that functionality either for SecurID and never obtained it. As a workaround, I could create a dummy user account with the string LOST in the name and assign the lost & disabled token to it. I could run a query for string LOST and see all of the lost tokens. I could name the account something meaningful and/or in the description for more context.

    Sri also emailed Sean and Ramesh on AMIS team. Waiting for them to add their input.

    ================

    Looks like you set the 'found' status true/false instead of set the 'lost' status!
