New identities are collected with a scheduled collection but do not show up in the UI unless I manually rerun the collectors.

Do you have unification scheduled as well after the scheduled collection?
if yes, did you check if the unification aborted from any reason?

It seems the vendor did not set a Unification schedule when they migrated.
I have set a unification schedule and will monitor.
