App Feedback: Would it be possible to implement code matching requests for apple watch?
Prior to us switching from "Allow/Deny" authentication to code matching, users used to be able to authenticate using their apple watches by tapping "Allow" or "Deny".
Once we switched to code matching authentication, users lost the ability to authenticate via their apple watch. I'm just looking to request to have that functionality as part of a future update if possible, that would be a neat feature to see come back. Is this possible, or does this exceed an iOS limitation?
It's not possible.
Only notification can be 'transmitted' from an iOS device to an Apple Watch, not the underlying features, such as Code Matching...
It may be possible to support this in a version of the RSA Authenticator app which would be developed specifically to be installed/run on the Apple Watch, but this is currently not planned.
