Using Workflow Variables in ACM Coverage File Filters

I am working with RSA Access Certification Manager (ACM) and reviewing the Coverage File documentation.

The documentation explains that reviewer, subject, and object filters can use database attributes and custom attributes (for example,

DEPARTMENT, CAS1, CAS2, etc.) as filter criteria. However, I could not find any information regarding the use of workflow variables within coverage file entries.

Has anyone successfully used workflow variables in a coverage file filter, for example:

DEPARTMENT='${DepartmentVariable}'

    Hi,

    In general, you create a coverage file and then manually upload it to the Review configuration.

    I don't think there is a direct way to write from workflow to a coverage file.

    If you're looking into streamlining the coverage file setup, the following tips could help you start:

    • You can use Reports to create a coverage file (see this article here), you still need to upload the file into the Review configuration
    • You can use the system's Web Services to Upload a coverage file into an existing Review Definition
