Event Message Components for the Cloud Authentication Service

The Cloud Authentication Service generates messages that are triggered by user and system events. You can view these events in the User Event Monitor and System Event Monitor in the Cloud Administration Console.

An event message has the following components.

Level Indicates if the event is a notification or error.

Classifies the event by action or component. For example, authentication or identity router.

Description Describes the specific event. For example, Approve authentication succeeded.

The Cloud Authentication Service supports the following event levels.

Event Level Description
Notice Indicates a successful operation or process. For example, a notice message indicates success for authenticator registration or authentication method verification.
Error Indicates an error or failure. For example, an error message is generated when authenticator registration or authentication fails.
