The Diagnostics and System Data gathering feature in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle was introduced in the following versions/patches: 7.0.2 P11, 7.1.0 P04, 7.1.1, and later. The following resources provide more information about this feature:
When the data sharing option is enabled for this feature (see RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle user interface under
Admin > Diagnostics > Diagnostics and System Data > Data Sharing), the diagnostic data is shared with RSA via the following service URL:
https://cms.netwitness.com/telemetry
The above service URL will be discontinued in July 2021. When this service is no longer available, any upload of data by RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle would fail. The failure to upload diagnostic data will not surface on the user interface, however, the following (or a similar) error will be logged in
aveksaServer.log:
Error while uploading Live Data: org.springframework.web.client.HttpClientErrorException: 403 Forbidden
Apart from the above log message in
aveksaServer.log, there will be no adverse effect on the operations of RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle.
The following versions/patches include a new service URL for sharing the Diagnostics and System Data with RSA:
- SecurID Governance & Lifecycle 7.5.1 and later
- RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.5.0 P02
- RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.2.1 P06
The new service URL for sharing RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle diagnostic data with RSA is as follows:
https://telemetry.access.securid.com/
When your RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle production deployment is upgraded to the version or patch listed above, ensure that your network is updated to allow RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle to upload diagnostic data via the new service URL. The updated versions/patches of RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle will resume uploading the data (to the new service) starting from the last successful upload (that was pointing to the legacy service).
