In the RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle
Requests drop-down menu, there is a
Pending Submissions option that shows change requests in a
Pending Submission state. What does this state mean?
Image description
Note when you click on the Request
Name, there is no processing workflow associated with the request and the change request items are in an
Open state.

This state indicates that a change request submitted by a user was not successfully submitted. This can occur when the browser times out or the application/system crashes or is forced to shut down quickly.
These change requests can be ignored and have no value. There is a scheduled task that runs every 12 hours on the System Operations Node (SON) which will delete all requests in a Pending Submission state. Alternatively, these change requests may be manually cancelled by going to Requests > Pending Submissions > {Name} > Cancel.
- In the user's Manage Access screen on their Home page.
- Create a report (Reports > Tabular > Create Report > Query tab) with the following query:
(select * from change_request where current_state='PS')
