Issue
At times, system administrators need to retrieve the RSA Authentication Manager license file to rebuild the system, but the license file is misplaced or lost after RSA Authentication Manager installation or perhaps the system administrator cannot download the license from Download Central.
Resolution
The RSA Authentication Manager server stores the license file in the file system so administrators can retrieve it from the server, either via SSH or by a KVM that is directly attached to the primary.
In RSA Authentication Manager 8.x, the license file is located in the /tmp/ directory.

Notes
- The license files can only be retrieved from the RSA Authentication Manager 8.x primary server.
- Please contact RSA Customer Support to generate a replacement license file if you still cannot locate the license file.
