How to setup Emergency Access Tokencodes using RSA Authentication Manager Bulk Administration

Issue

An administrator has a requirement to setup Emergency Access Tokencodes using Authentication Manager Bulk Administration (AMBA).

Task

Here is an example of using EAFXD action for RSA Authentication Manager Bulk Administration (AMBA) where AMBA has been installed on the primary instance.

1. Open an SSH session or correct directly to the Authentication Manager primary instance with the rsaadmin account.
2. Navigate to /opt/rsa/am/utils.
3. Create a file called AMBAactions.txt.
4. Copy and paste the following actions into the AMBAactions.txt file.

Action,TokSerial,SetPin,CreatePin
EAFXD,000503095210,1234,D06/30/2017

5. Run the action using the following command: 

./rsautil AMBulkAdmin -i AMBAActions.txt -o outputlog --verbose -a [superadmin] -P [password] --lic AMBA_license.lic

 

NOTE: The --lic parameter may not be required where the Authentication Manager license is an Enterprise license and the deployment is using Authentication Manager  8.2 software.
