Issue

Running acetest produces the following error on the client side:

Unexpected error from ACE/Agent API

The Authentication Manager activity monitor reports:
 

Authentication method failed.

Cause

RSA Authentication Manager is unable to decrypt the authentication packet.

Resolution

1. Create a file called sdopts.rec inside the /var/ace directory.
2. Enter a line as follows, replacing x.x.x.x with the IP address that is used in the Authentication Manager agent entry.

CLIENT_IP=x.x.x.x

For example,

CLIENT_IP=192.168.1.1
