Issue
The RSA FIM ctsession plugin fails to delete temporary users created by the transient nameID plugin.

FIM debug log shows the following error message.

2015-05-07 08:57:42,861, (CTPluginHelper.java:465), FIM, , , , Error cleaning up temporary users, sirrus.api.client.TransportException

The RSA Access Manager 6.1.4 (or earlier) Entitlements server (eserver) shows the following message in the standard output log in DDEBUG mode:

11:21:05:589 [*] [APIClientProxy-7] - APIServer: about to execute command key getInSearchRangeOfObjsCmd logged in is true
11:21:05:605 [*] [APIClientProxy-7] - Error constructing client command: String length of 44269 exceeds set limit of -1


 
Cause
RSA Federated Identity Manger (FIM) 4.2 uses the 6.2 RSA Access Manager adminAPI and runtimeAPI jar files.  These shared libraries are not backwards compatible with the older RSA Access Manager 6.1.x servers.
Resolution
Upgrade to RSA Access Manager 6.2.x for the backend servers.
