Summary:
RSA recommends that you use SSL/TLS for communication between RSA SecurID Access components and Active Directory. These components include RSA Authentication Manager, the Cloud Authentication Service, and RSA authentication agents. Beginning in March 2020, Microsoft will release a series of Windows updates that might affect non-SSL/TLS (unencrypted) communication with Active Directory. If you choose not to use SSL/TLS, follow the guidance provided by Microsoft to avoid future compatibility problems: https://portal.msrc.microsoft.com/en-us/security-guidance/advisory/ADV190023.
